These are a nice gold finish and are substantial to hold a heavy stoneware plate. They are not bendable so just check to make sure they will clear the cabinet or shelf with the plate. They stay in place and hold the plate securely. Would purchase again.

Some plate stands fold in the middle, which is great for storage. But if you accidentally bump into the folding stand holding a plate, you might kiss your plate goodbye. This small plate stand is well made and sturdy--no folding--and it does the job. The small plates I displayed have a gold border, so this 'gold' stand matches perfectly, but is unobtrusive and does not distract from the plates.

Good size. I needed it for an antique bowl with gold trim. It is sturdy enough, takes a thick enough plate and the gold blends in well.

I have a larger plate that I wasn't expecting to put on the stand but happened to do so for a minute. The stand works great with it. I'm so impressed, and it works with the smaller size plate I bought it to display. Very happy with the quality and functionality.

I've had the plate holders that fold in the middle and are not stable. I hate those but, these are just what my 7 inch plates needed to display on my shelves. They are just perfect!

Impression given was that it’s made of brass. It’s made with iron with yellow plastic paint on it.

It is not gold colour as claimed. It is yellow painted. Overpriced for its quality.
