I really wanted to like this trolling motor plug, but it's been a frustrating experience. Every time I unplug it, the internal components seem to pull out Everytime I unplug it. Also it is on a 12 volt 55lbs thrust and internal connections of plug already starting to melt, It's a huge pain to have to constantly reassemble the plug just to use my trolling motor.This feels incredibly cheaply made. I'm not sure if I got a faulty unit or if this is a common problem, but either way, it's unacceptable. I'm going to have to replace this with a higher-quality plug that can actually withstand normal use.If you're looking for a reliable trolling motor plug, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
