I was trying to find the right adapter that was suitable for an outlet in my small bedroom located on the edge of a wall unit air conditioner. I found this one and decided to buy it. Made an awkward spot work well. Use a screwdriver as leverage to turn it before plugging in. Easier.

Just bought my second of this nifty rotating multi plug. It works great - you do have to have it plugged into an outlet in order to rotate it. (Hope this helps those who've complained that it doesn't rotate...)This is so versatile; you can rotate the adapter 360 degrees, so have it in virtually any position you wish. One very minor complaint; it does have a power indicator light that is a tad bright, especially if using in a bedroom. (Just cover it with a doubled up post-it if need be.)

It's nice to have a rotating outlet nowadays where the some buildings have the ground on the top and you need to plug in appliances that weren't made for that

This outlet extender solved a problem we had with a small area to plug in just a couple items. (we had light switches to the left of the plug and a granite backsplash below the plug) Having the ability to turn the extender to the right side allowed us to be able to plug in our blow dryer, which has a large plug, and also a toothbrush into the plug.
