Material is smooth and light not thin. I’m 5’3†and had to hem the pants. Wide leg is okay if that is the look you want.

These trousers fit as expected, based on the size chart. My waist measurement puts me between a medium and a large, and I sized down. Maybe I got away with it? The medium fits me, but snuggly. For reference, I’m 29†or 30†at the waist and 40†at the hip. I’m 5’8†and weigh between 140 and 145 pounds.These might not be the right trousers if you’re taller than 5’7â€, sadly. I have a long torso and short legs, and STILL these 40-inch trousers feel just the slightest bit short on me. I measured - they really are 40 inches long, as the chart indicates. But the height of the waist gobbles up some of that length. Like I said, the medium is snug on me. So I wonder: if I had ordered the large, would the waist sit a bit lower and leave more length? I don’t know.The fabric is nothing special. I don’t love these enough to wish I had another pair. They’re good, but not better than others you’ll see.What sets these pants apart for me is the COLOR! The purple shade is true to the photos. It goes with all my black flats and tops, but I’ve also been having fun pairing it with brighter blues and pinks! So I definitely recommend the purple, if you think these pants are right for you.Ok I love you bye!

The pleats make my tummy look bad…also, can’t button it so must run small in waist. Not lined,so I don’t consider these “dress pants†…can see thru a bit
