I've been shopping around for a helmet and tried several of the Troxel brand helmets (Intrepid, Spirit, and Liberty) and a Tipperary, but this is by far the most comfortable and well made. That it's a MIPS helmet makes it all the better. I love that it adjusts in the back and that the padding is well made. I think it's worth the extra cost.If you are like me and have a very round head, chances are you'll like this helmet. Just make sure you follow the size chart.

I ordered a medium and it was too big, so if your head size is close to the last number to go to bigger size, order down, not up. The fit was perfect with a small. The smaller fit looks better, and my ears have full clearance, however the chin strap was shorter, but still is the perfect length. I wanted a helmet with more cooling vents, but the yellow MIPS liner shows a little through them, but I guess that’s a good problem to have.

I purchased this one after my severe riding accident where my Troxel helmet saved my life. I knew I wanted another and was super excited to learn about the new MIPS technology. I love the feel of this helmet it is of the newer design then my old one and is comfortable and cool. I assume it will work as good or better than my old one due to its manufacturer, though I pray I never need to test it.

I am so glad I bought this helmet and was wearing it when I was bucked off a horse and landed on the road on my head and back. This helmet saved me from getting a horrible head/brain injury or death. I did get a mild concussion but considering I landed on a concrete road on my head and back and only got a mild concussion is great. My only complaint about the helmet is the dial fit knob on the back of the helmet is very uncomfortable and pushes into the back of your head if you're laying on your back on a concrete road waiting for the ambulance.

I have a very tiny head and this helmet adjust to fit fantastic. I like the mips system. My head stay cool when I am riding because of the liner they used.

The visor broke after a month of use. The straps and helmet are not comfortable. Would of returned but went by return window
