For the price, its one of the best products on the market compared to its competitors. It offers the famous D30 protection but it also add the hard shell in the back to make it sturdy and feel like its actually gonna protect your back. There is another version with only D30 protection but without the hardshell it feels like it’s lacking smth. The D30 pad makes it very comfortable as it is the part that touches your back. Its a very lightweight for what it offers but if your main aim is weight, go for the one without the hardshell
