Solved the problems... Door shows closed and my interior lights shut off as they should! It wasn't much fun to install, though not any issue with this switch, but more about the engineers that designed the door and system. Overall it took me about an hour. It worked, I'm happy.

I installed this because my original was missing and it doesn't even work. My door ajar light is still on. Waste of my time and money.
