Fit my 2016 500e and works well. Install wasn't that difficult thanks to numerous YouTube videos. I'd get this brand! Oh wait, I already did!

Replaced what I thought was a bad motor/reg assembly with this. I was already too far into the install to want to reuse the old one. Beware that this kit no longer comes with bolts and nuts (at least mine didn't.) Rather, they send you some sufficient replacement rivets which I threw in the garbage, went to tractor supply and got some assorted grade 8 bolts, lockouts and lockwashers. I think the ones I used were 1/4", and I just bought various lengths between 1/2" and 1-1/2" and kept the rest of what I didn't use. You will need the longer bolts for where the regulator bolts to the window glass itself! Just buy 4 of each, you won't be out much money and it'll save the headache of having try to use rivets and possibly breaking your window glass with the force of the rivet tool. The hardest part was getting the window back in the window channel correctly. I had to try taking it in and out probably 12 times before I got it. Just make sure the front of the glass rides properly in the channel as well as the back, and take your time so not as to break/scratch the glass. If you have window tint, consider using a microfiber towel to protect the inside of the glass as you'll likely ruin it if you don't.

When I heard a very jarring pop and grinding sound one day when putting my window down, I got that sinking feeling that I was going to have to spend more money than I wanted to. Turns out this particular repair was a "dealer job"... and I was hearing figures near $800 to $1000 for the repair. I searched online and found this part, and the manufacturer even has an *EXCELLENT* and detailed video of the entire process. It's involved, but requires no special tools... 10mm socket, screwdriver, couple of Torx bits, and that's about it. It took all of about 90 minutes from start to finish. The product fits properly in my 2012 Jeep Liberty, with the only exception being I needed to use the motor assembly from my original door guts because I had a different wiring type (six wires on mine vs two on the one that came with the new item) but it was a one-for-one fit. Quality of the item was indistinguishable from the factory original. And I saved many hundreds of dollars and had full use of my vehicle the whole time - no drop-off/pick-up next day issues. Highly recommended, and much appreciation to the manufacturer.

Having good luck with TRQParts. They have good install videos on the web. My original assembly had a frayed cable that jammed the motor. Also good price.

I had to replace the regulator and window in my 2006 Toyota Matrix because some foam in the door fell in the way of the window and caused one of the regulator arms to bend over time. It was easy enough to replace myself, but the motor that came with this is cheap and loud. I held it in my hand while activating it with the window switch and it vibrated a ton. Luckily, the OEM motor was not part of the problem and still worked. I held it in my hand for comparison and there was no vibration, just a slow smooth operation. You can unscrew it from the rest of the regulator with three star head screws and attach it to the regulator and throw the other motor away, which is what I did. Works perfectly, but if the OEM motor still works, then just buy the regulator without a motor. If you need a new motor, buy the OEM part, this one is LOUD and OBNOXIOUS and you don't want it in your car.

The rear window regulator cable broke on my jeep. When I opened up the door, I could see that it had been replaced before. It was an easy diy job and probably took less than an hr to change. The regulators are not well made and alot of aftermarket ones are worse than oem. Oem will cost twice as much. In comes TRQ. The lifetime warranty sold me right away. TRQ is known for making quality parts. I know I made the right choice choosing TRQ .

Installation was tougher than needed. The track has the mounting hooks the original had, but the motor does not. Trying to hold the motor in the door while lining up the screw holes would have been much easier with the mounting hooks.
