Safety Instructional Manual
- The load connected to the output end of the power regulator should not be more than MAX LISTED LOAD POWER, any higher rated load will cause damage to the power regulator.

I installed this in an older excavator 24 V. Only wasn't able to charge my phone very easy to install. Very small, easy to hide works awesome.

This is for the 30 amp 24V to 12V unit. Bought this to step down voltage from a Makita 18V tool battery to 12V to replace a lead acid battery. I'm not sure if it puts out the full 30 amps since I don't have the equipment to test that but for the application I used it for it rips, and the wires get warm just like the factory setup, so it's definitely getting a workout. Heat sink on the unit itself stays cool though, even inside its enclosure. The output seems to exceed the old lead acid battery it's replacing even when it was at full charge, which I was surprised to see honestly. I haven't run a battery all the way down on it to see if the undervoltage protection works, but I have no reason to believe it won't. Will update if it kills a battery or something but so far so good.

Added a security camera next to one of our sliding chain-link fence gates that is secured with a Linear access keypad fed from a 24VDC plug in transformer. The enclosure that houses all of the power and data connections is very tight on space, so instead of adding another bulky 12V power adapter, I decided to leverage the existing 24V brick to step down to 12V for the camera. I purchased the 1.5A variant as the camera draws a little under 1A. This was very straightforward to wire, does not get hot, and seems to provide stable DC power to the camera for keeping an eye on vehicles coming through the gate.

This 24V to 12V step down converter initially worked great for my setup, but unfortunately, it eventually failed due to an improper grounding issue on my part. Here are my thoughts on this product:Pros:Effective Conversion: When properly installed, this converter works efficiently, providing a reliable 12V output from a 24V input. It’s a great solution for powering 12V devices from a 24V source.Compact Design: The converter is compact and easy to install, fitting neatly into various setups without taking up much space.Cons:Wire Gauge and Length: One area for improvement is the wire gauge and length. The wires are a bit too thin and short, making it somewhat challenging to work with, especially in setups that require more flexibility.Grounding Sensitivity: The device failed due to an improper grounding on my part. It seems to be quite sensitive to grounding issues, so ensuring a proper setup is crucial.Despite the failure caused by my grounding mistake, I believe this converter is a solid product. It performs well when installed correctly and offers a reliable step down from 24V to 12V.With slightly thicker and longer wires, this product would be even better. Overall, I would recommend it, but make sure to double-check your grounding to avoid any issues.Would recommend with a note of caution regarding installation!

I was worried about low quality step up converters on Amazon, but this one seems fantastic! I'm using it with my 12v drill battery and a low voltage cutoff, to power an LED strobe light. I hooked my voltmeter up to it, and it is consistently putting out 24.14 vBecause my 24v LED strip is 90w, its on the upper end of what this should be able to do, but as it is a strobe, the light is off more than it is on. This converter isn't even getting warm to the touch- I was worried about that with a plastic box, and the metal ones were too big. If this were constant on I'm sure it would be another story, but it's perfect for my strobe use. My strobe is on a timer that has it go on/off/on, and so far this has no issues supplying power down to .1 seconds of use.

We are running multiple processors on a FIRST Robotics Competition robot. With current draw from about a dozen electric motors and a single 17 amp-hr battery, voltage drop is a real problem. This regulator initially did an excellent job of maintaining voltage but quickly stopped regulating. I went back to the previous brand I had purchased that lasted under heavy use for a whole season

I bought this to convert my 20 volt drill battery to run 12 volt led lights. So far no problem. Voltage output was a steady 12.1 volts.
