This combo salt and pepper grinder is as functional and easy to use as it is classy looking on any dining room table. Made of brushed stainless steel and glass, it is very solid, plenty large, and rather heavy. The grind of both salt crystals or pepper corns of most any type or size is consistent, easy, and fully adjustible from medium coarse through powder fine. The heavy duty components should last a very long time.Some other reviewers have complained that the stainless steel cover is difficult to remove for refilling the chambers. Since it came already loaded and the chambers are quite large, I have not yet had the need to refill. So, I guess that's a little chore for some time in the future. It looks simple, but looks can be deceiving.That caveat said, this combo grinder seems to be EXCELLENT, and a big step up from the cheap plastic combo grinder it replaced.

Love this salt and pepper grinder. It’s beautiful and useful. Refilling it is not an obvious process though. I found another review that said how - pull up the entire covering (the part that goes down the sides) - and it works. I am posting photos to make it easier for others

Is a little difficult to grind the salt,but easy to grind the pepper,prob just needs to get a little more used.

I already knew I wanted one because for past few years I have been using one at my kids family house. So practical. One container for both salt and pepper and both in a grinder that is easy to handle and use! Very well made! I will consider giving one as a gift to friends.

Having wasted close to $100 on cheap and crappy salt mills and pepper mills, I ordered this one having see the Trudeau brand at a fancy steakhouse near my home. It does not disappoint. The salt and pepper are ground properly, over the area you expect them to be deposited. Terrific design and an awesome price. I would have paid double for this. Really. Thank you Trudeau!

I’m keeping this item but it’s not comfortable using. Too big and sharp for tender hands. But I like having salt and pepper in one place.

I purchased one of these combo salt and pepper mills through warehouse deals for about $15. Great deal unfortunately it was damaged. The manufacturer sent a replacement free of charge, very happy with their customer service. The mills work great, they make nice fine pepper or salt and also coarse if you want. Convenient to have both in one container.
