Been installed in my trunk for over a month now. I have connected it to my remote start system and added the button that came with it under my seat.Working like a charm, very powerful. Even when the bike rack is installed and with weight applied on the trunk, it can open it.

did not see anything in the ad regarding the strength of pull on this item. when I got it - the box cover indicated a 10 or 15 pound pull force - if you have anything with resistance this will not work. since I installed it, I can't return it - but it is worthless, unless there is no pressure on the latch you want to pull..

item didnt have work/wire instruction so i had to youtube it and it worked out. only thing that was missing is that it didnt come with something to hold the wire together for the solenoiod... so i had to loop the wires around a few time and tied it.
