Had full size but wanted a shorter one when planting plants. Our ground is hard and always need digging bar to break it up yo get shovel in. Good weight and size. Came in excellent shape

I ordered this as a back-up—I rented a 2 man hole auger and thought that there'd be almost no need for this thing. Turns out, hole augers kinda suck! Instead of quickly blasting out six 36" deep footings, my partner and I got to dig the holes by hand.This digging bar works really well. I had never heard of a digging bar before I started this project, so I had no references. We decided we needed another one, so I went to Home Depot and picked up a Husky brand one. The Husky is heavier, but this bar is much, much better. The sharp tip makes it really good at biting into the garbage clay soil that's ubiquitous where I live. After using the Husky bar for a day, I bought another one of these.

Not quite as heavy as our prior one which we bent, but works well . Heavy duty with a slightly shorter beveled end than our o,d one.

Photo is of 69inch. Quality is good, but photo should change based on item selected. Good enough to keep, but lower review because of Amazon. Get the 69inch unless you know for fact you need 48inch.
