These locks have thicker metal & will not be bent during travel like the other brand I tried. The 4 number locking system is more secure than 3 number locks. Easy to set up. Easy to open & use. Works well.

I bought these for locks for a gym locker, but got TSA locks in case I decide to use them for travel. These were easy to set a combination to, easy to lock and unlock.

Traveled with these locks for the first time. Programming the lock wasn't as simple as expected, but did work fine. However, the numbers are very hard to read depending on the light. Glare reflects off the dials. I wound up needing to use a magnifying glass to unlock them. They do work adequately otherwise.

I must have bought at least half a dozen different brands and goodness knows how many TSA approved combination locks (my estimate is around 30-40?) over the last couple decades of active air travel and have never ever been impressed by or bothered enough (except for maybe Eagle Creek locks I once bought from REI) to write a review about a lock purchase!I'm definitely impressed with these 'generic' ones. The are completely made of metal and have a reassuring weight to each one. Construction looks solid and the finish is excellent with the locking mechanisms and dial rings working smoothly during the initial combination settings for all the 6 locks I bought. I was so taken by this product that I promptly bought 2 more sets as back-ups or give-aways. I've found that my stash of locks 'disappear' over time due to them getting lost during trips or when family/friends staying over for a visit ask for one. You can never have enough handy around when you need them! lolEach individual lock in the set of 2 comes in it's own plastic bag and then both are then in yet another larger plastic bag. The locks, along with the instructions, come in a box. The printed instructions sheet also mentions that company warranties the locks for 3 years against breakage. Time and usage will ultimately determine how good these locks 'wear and tear' but at about 8 bucks a lock I find it a great buy.

Bought these when I was flying to Puerto Rico. I wanted something to lock my luggage and carry on bag. I love the fact that there is no cable, just like a pad lock. Easy to install and open. Looks good and very secure.

Easy instructions to set up my own 4 digit lock code. Heavier than I thought they would be but that gives me some assurance of their strength. I like that they’re TSA approved and can be opened by them with a pass key if needed during airport inspection.

I bought two sets of these locks (2 locks in each set, for a total of 4 locks) for a trip abroad. Unfortunately, the three locks I brought on my trip ALL malfunctioned in the first two days, so I could not lock up my luggage for pretty much my entire trip. Apparently, once you enter the combination and take the lock off your luggage, you have to be careful not to let the U shaped top part of the lock swing a certain way or past a certain point, otherwise, it will freeze in place, and you cannot get the U shaped part to go back into the bottom lock.Since all of the locks were new and I was using them for the first time on my trip, it seems too much of a coincidence that ALL THREE locks malfunctioned, which leads me to the conclusion this is a design defect.When I came back home, I tried to return them but couldn't because the return period had just expired. I contacted customer service, who was very nice to deal with. Over the course of several emails, they tried to walk me through trouble shooting steps, which worked for one lock but not the other. I will probably not use with lock again for fear of malfunctioning locks on future trip - either being unable to lock my luggage, or worse, being unable to UNlock it. II do want to emphasize that customer support was very quick to respond and were very nice, which was the only redeeming factor in all this. However,they can only do so much with bad locks, and I wasted $30 on 4 crummy locks that don't work. :-(I would recommend NOT buying these combination locks. They're a waste of money.
