I've built a decent home theater on a tight budget.I have a good sub that can reach 10hz but it was just missing the feel of deep bass.This transducer, which I bolted to the underside of my couch, just fills in the rumble.I was watching Cars on blue ray, the race at the beginning of the movie is fantastic. At the scene where Lighting blows his tires and King and chick are racing to beat him to the finish. It was like I was sitting right next to a race track I could feel the cars go by. I have only had this transducer for a week, I'm still working on setting just right right, but so far it has impressed me. I bought the gold transducer because it works in the same frequency range as my subwoofer. I have found that compared to my sub which likes to get frequencies 60hz and lower. This transducer seems to sound best, at least to me in my system, when you give it more audio spectrum to work with, have it set @ 100hz and lower in my receiver.Out of the box it has the hardware to install transducer in one of four typical set-ups and some basic wiring instructions. You just need to provide some ingenuity to install the transducer where you want it. I used a left over 2x6 to mount it under my sofa. Buttkicker has a competing device in a kit that may make setup easier. The Buttkicker kit has isolator feet and a isolated mount that you attach their transducer and slide under one of the legs of you chair or couch. I don't mind a little work for a custom install, and it seemed that the Clark transducer may be more robust.I would buy this again, it is my intention is to buy another Clark Synthesis TST329 Gold and mount both units under the floor.The only Con of this product is that you have to buy extra parts to make it work. You may want isolator feet, you may (probably) need a dedicated amplifier, and/or you may need to fabricate a mount for the transducer.

Amazing product. Currently using them with Dayton Audio Bsa -200 amp in bridge mode with Denon amp at -9db with a crossover of 50hz. It truly provides an amazing experience for movies. Highly recommend them.

I have not purchased from Amazon but I do own 2 of these..If you can bare the price these things will rock your world! I had a theater room in my old house and am now building a new theater room in my current house and I MADE SURE to take my TST329 with me when I sold my house.. I cant wait to reinstall them..They have so much power that they will seriously loosen the bolts off of your couch(almost)..I bought a Pyle amp to drive them because it was cheap and they don't need to have an expensive amp, but you just cant turn them all the way up because it is to much vibration. The gun shots in the movies you will be able to feel in your back. I love the reaction I get when people come over to watch a movie...
