Pretty good optical and autofocus performance on my X-E2 and X-Pro2. Seems well made and the price seems very reasonable. I enjoy using this focal length for everyday shooting.

I was scared to purchase this because of some unfavorable reviews on Amazon, but I'm glad I did! As someone who just started using Fuji cameras, I wanted to buy a 27mm pancake lens without paying $300, TTArtisan's lens made the most sense to me. Upon arrival, the lens came well-packaged with a warranty card, lens wipe, and a USB-C port for lens updates.I was surprised at the vintage-style look that came out of the lenses. Previously, I had a Sigma 30mm lens on my X-Pro1. Despite the great autofocus, the lens was hard to carry in simple outings. The autofocus is a little noisy, but not as noisy as my friend's Fuji 27mm pancake lens. I love the size and weight on this thing!

Been using this lens for a while now and I absolutely love it, images are nice and sharp, it’s very compact and lightweight to carry around perfect for street photography, only thing is the autofocus can struggle at times during dim lighting other than that it’s is great value.

It works fine and is sharp, quick and fast enough. But it is like taking the lonely bigboned girl (the last one in the club) home for a good time. Shure it feels good and it was cheaper than going for the star of the evening. But ones you have it for a while you juist know you could have done better if you got the premium one.

I only have 2 x-mount lenses. This $170 gem and a $600 XF 18 2. This white thing is 100% better. Faster and quiter AF.

Pros:+ Form factor. It’s a Z mount lens that is the size of the F mount to Z mount adapter.+ Auto focus mostly works.+ Can manually adjust after attempting auto focus.+ Cheap. Getting a lens this form factor and near this focal length from Nikon might be impossible. The closest I have seen is a 24mm (too wide for me) at nearly 1.5x the price USED of this lens new.+ Build quality. Feels solid except for the paper thin plastic wafer of a lens cap.+ Can adjust aperture on the lens or with camera body controls. The choice is thoughtful.Cons:- This lens vignettes HARD. Atrociously at f/2.8, terribly at f/4, at f/8 it vignettes about as much as my Nikkor-S from the 1960’s at f/1.4 (not much), and at f/11 I can’t see it anymore(like the Nikkor-S at f/2). The maximum in-camera vignette compensation in the Nikon Z fc cannot fix this. Be ready to correct in post.- 39mm filter threads?! There is no reason that the plastic couldn’t have been molded further out to accept a more common size like 52 or 58mm except that they would have had to print their logo a little smaller. Quite rude.- Manual focus adjustments “feel” electronic. If you’ve used a Canon STM lens, it’s like that.- 27mm is a LITTLE wide for me, but acceptable for the form factor.- f/2.8 is not really fast enough to shoot indoors for me. Another sacrifice that the form factor and price factor against. But the hard vignetting in addition to that will result in higher ISO being needed, and more noise, again fixable in post.- I had to pay full price because I couldn’t find one used. This lens would be a good value at $60-80, imo. At $150, I would take a harder look at adapted F mount lenses or used Nikkor Z lenses. But at the end of the day, I wanted a lens and body that could fit in a very small bag to walk around with to snap quick pictures. And I wasn’t willing to pay over $200 for the lens. If I have time to set up, I will mount an old manual focus F-mount lens. This fits that niche for me. There are issues, but skill and software can fix enough of them to make it useful.(The picture is a beige wall at f/2.8)
