Take your tub spout off. Measure the length of the pipe sticking out from the wall (it's called a stub out). Most of these universal fits say they fit 4" to 4 1/2" stub outs. If you are more than that this will not fit. If you think you are right at 4 1/2" (like I thought I was) you may also find many of these do not fit snugly.I cut up a silicone beverage coaster and put it behind this to make it fit.It works well. Honestly, the sprayer is fantastic. It came with everything needed. I even went liberal with the tape and had enough. The only downside I saw was that it had a plastic piece inside to stop the water (see photo). I have old metal stems which put out great water pressure. My plumber says they are not allowed to work on systems like mine anymore and hinted that the newer ones had less water pressure and that is why plastic can be used.Also, the holder for the sprayer has a lip on the side that must face upward. (The photo shows it right way up with the notch on the top.)It's a great product for those that have the right set up.

I’m totally impressed with this shower head. Good quality, great water pressure. Easy to install and best of all... customize your shower with different settings on the shower head!This was super duper easy installation. I am not mechanically inclined so I usually sit down somewhere and think about what I will be wearing to the ball while my hubby does the grunt work but in this case, I took off the old leaking showerhead and had this bad boy up in 15 minutes. The instructions were clear as a bell and they even included plumbers tape to properly seal the job.This is a wonderful shower kit and it comes with everything you need right out of the box. This is a perfect project to build up your confidence as a young woman who has just gotten her first place or bought her first home. Everything you need is included, including the hoses.I give this kit five stars!

There must be something wrong with my pipe as it says it's 3/4 and measures 3/4 but somehow doesn't fit. Still, this is a high quality spout. It is all metal, quite heavy, and the parts unscrew quite easily. It's definitely my very old plumbing system that is the problem, and not this spout.

At first I thought it was going to be amazing. Installed it (after an issue with it not being compatible with the pipe so had to replace the pipe to make it work). Then it came time to mount it to the wall. Can't do it. The mount that they have for it the head does not fit into at all. As a result we thought that we would just put the hose part into the mount. That is not suitable either because the hose is narrower. Basically there is not way to properly hang it without it constantly falling out of the mount (sometimes in the middle of the night scaring us out of our sleep)

I got this to attach to my tub to make it easier to bathe my dogs.First off, my husband told me to say that because of where the end of the copper pipe has to stop in the spout to divert to the side, the spout does not fully cover the pipe length. It's a standard spout size, but the copper pipe isn't coming to the end, it's stopping at the diverter, so as you can see in the photo some of the copper pipe is exposed at the base. This could be solved by cutting off a bit of the pipe but my hubby didn't want to fool with that.The sprayer itself has a nice pressure to it. It definitely helped rinse the doggos thoroughly, especially the one who has a thick undercoat that's usually hard to rinse.Be wary of the pointed sprayer at the top, though. My husband didn't realize that was there and shot himself in the face with it!
