I love these boots. They have a sturdy sole, good leather, and are very comfortable. I bought the wide calf, which I normally need, and I probably could have gotten by with a regular calf, the wide calf is quite big. Even so, these stand up to mucking and are comfortable to ride in.

I am so sad, I am a size 7 with a wide calf and these boots are HUGE. I am surprised the sole is so thin and the cushion on the sole is not really a cushion, it is like walking on cement when I step. I don't want them. I can't wear them. I would have had to order a size 6 and a regular calf....they seem like they are fake or a knock off, they are built really weird...I have bought tons of boots for equestrian usage in my life and this purchase was my first fail. Now to figure out how to do a return which I wish I did not have to do :(

The fit is ok, I wish they had another option of a Tall. These are a little short in my leg. Comfortable! Not a fluffy as I would have like in the inside but so far with a good ski sock they have been good. Broke in quickly.

I received a pair of these boots for Christmas from a wish list and loved them, since I wanted to switch away from paddock boots and half chaps but Ariat leather riding boots are too constrictive for me and I wanted something warm for the winter. When the zipper broke on the upper calf a few months later, I ordered myself another pair. This time the zipper made it 2 years before breaking, popping open while I was wearing the boots and making it a struggle to get out of them. I’ve just ordered my 3rd pair because these boots are so warm and comfortable all year round. Maybe that’s just the life span of riding boots? They are not super tight, and I’ve had other non-riding boots for years. If the zipper breaks again, I guess I’ll have to move on to another brand!

As the other reviewer stated the leather is no joke but worth the effort to break in. Wide calf's don't give up! Get a good stretch spray and they will be perfect in two wears. For riding they have become my fav. Very comfortable when just around around the barn too.

These boots are ok. But I not happy with the fit. When I went to return them, there was a 50% restock fee and a 50% deduction if they had been worn. I wore them once, cleaned them back up.Needless to say - I'm keeping them. Not because I'm happy with them, but because I'm not going to loose that much money.Will make me rethink ordering from Amazon.

These boots are amazing!!! I wear a 9 with a wife calf, so that is what I ordered. They fit perfect!! The foot is super comfortable and they are very warm.

They seemed like a well constructed boot , but did not fit my foot / calf shape.Foot size seemed to run large, calf size ran small. I took appropriate measurements according to the manufacturer’s size chart.
