I really liked that there was no actual ink contact with my dog’s paw when I did this print and that there was enough to do a second impression when she wiggled on the first attempt. The black ink is nice bc I can make a sticker effect on photos as well as having the tangible print on paper. I will practice with my other dog before we try his bc it is expensive to waste the ink when they wiggle but overall I am thankful for the ability to take a print without getting ink on their actual paws.

“Tuhangcc Paw Print Clean Touch Ink Pad Kit for Dogs and Catsâ€: I ordered this primarily because my cat and one of my dogs are both on palliative care and I don’t expect them to be with me for long. The first time I brought the kit out though was because I was dog-sitting for my brother, and thought it would be a fun little craft to send home with my “niecesâ€. I couldn’t have asked for better for a first print (purple stickers). For the other pup, she did well for a puppy but jerked at the last second (purple and teal stickers), resulting in the double paw pad you see; so we tried again 2x with the SAME ink pad (second time not pictured) – the third time with the same ink pad is what you see in the third picture. It’s possible to get more than print off each ink pad, so don’t be discouraged by the limited number of pads. I’ve done so many ink/paint prints on my patients over the years, and I’m just so impressed by the ease of use and cleanup on these, with such clear and detailed results! Then we come to the stickers. There’s only one font for the letters, which I guess is fine for a memorial but doesn’t match the personality of most animals I meet; and the letters are only gold, which is very dissonant with the pastel envelopes and purple/teal transparent hearts. Speaking of the hearts – the purple ones were fine, but the teal ones wouldn’t come off the sheet. I was able to get two, but the rest are punched all the way through the sheet and can’t be used unless you glue them yourself. These cheap stickers may as well have not been included, but I’m unsure if the price point is right for me then. This product really is just about a 5 star without them, though.

Love doing these with our four dogs! My kids had a blast making their paw prints. The Paw Prints came out dark and beautiful, and with no mess on the paws, floor, or kids :-). I would highly recommend these.

thought that these would work with our large puppy but the frames is smaller than we thought it was going to be.
Trash or Treasure?

Is this trash, or treasure? What I like:This kit comes with two ink trays (touchless) to use to get good paw prints from your dog or cat. Tip: you can also use this with a baby if you wanted to do newborn footprints. These are inkless, meaning there is a cover that your pet steps on so the ink transfers to the paper, but there is no mess left on their paw or your baby's foot. You can go look for links to watch some "pro tip" videos on how to get the best print each time, as it does take a little finesse to make it work. That said, this is a great idea to get foot or paw prints without having to clean up paint, ink, etc. off of your pet. I like that the kit comes with 4 frames, along with some glue dots to keep the paw print centered in the frame. The included letter and heart stickers are less impressive, though I appreciate the little tweezer set that was included. What I didn't like:The quality of the stickers that are included, as well as the fact that there is no outer sleeve or box to keep these in until you use them all. I don't usually consider packaging as part of my review, but these only come in the outer box they are shipped in, so once you open that there's no way to keep these together unless you have another box/bag to put them in. There should definitely be at least a bag included so that you don't lose pieces if you don't use the whole kit at once.Is this trash, or treasure?Overall I like this kit, and think it's worth ordering for what you get included. Not perfect, but definitely good.

This is a great idea for a dog, but you'd better practice on one of the blank sheets or frames that come with this. You need to get your pet comfortable with the manipulations of their paw enough to hold still and give a good image. We didn't get a viable pic from the two pads that came with this. I would next time consider ordering two or more, especially if your dog is figity. We tried to press the dog's paw onto the pad. He might have done better with bringing the pad to his paw. This is my hindsight which will hopefully help you when you try this out (which you should). My only negative is that it should have come with at least one more ink pad. I mean--it's usually three chances, right?
