I love this little cabinet. I had to get this for work to house cleaning products in our front lobby. We have children around so the lock is important. As long as you pay attention to detail and adjust the door properly - the lock works fine.The instructions were a bit vague, so I decided to clear some things up. It's important to remember that it is a form of particleboard and that it can split easily.DO NOT over tighten screws and DO NOT screw in before everything is fully in place!!That being said - it's perfect for what I need.It is not a filing cabinet. This is not a file cabinet! This is a cabinet with a door. There is no way to put files on file holders and sort everything out. Very disappointed and misleading. It's also extremely hard to put together. Does not go together properly.

Assembly instructions are pics only and orientation of sections is sometimes unclear. I had to backtrack, unscrew, and reposition once or twice. Pay extra attention to groove placement.Seems sturdy for regular bedside or desk items. I certainly wouldn't sit on it as it is only particleboard.Great for dorm room, locking up electronics and valuables. It isn't a safe, but would be enough to make stealing inconvenient.Would recommend for students.

Cabinet nice price and quality. But don't buy this cabinet unless you are willing to assemble and re-assemble parts because the instructions are so unclear.

Cheaply made I did expect, top drawer does not slide easily and it is cheap particle board material.However, the biggest disappointment is the bottom is just an open cube. No rails for file folders! If you are looking for something to organize files, this is NOT what you want!!

Ordered this for a filing cabinet. It is a cabinet with a door. It will work for that. Instructions aren’t very good either.

It’s cute and stable. I could never put it together but my wonderful husband was able to in minutes. I look forward to using it next month when school starts back. Right now I am happy with the product.

Love this. Easy to put together and it fits underneath my desk at home for work. Sits back far enough where your knees don't hit it.
