I bought these to tye-dye some dingy white shirts. I find the lighter colors need a lot more application to really set into the fabric. The darker colors are more saturated. Easy to use and store in the refrigerator if you don't finish a bottle. I love the color variety. It makes for very wearable designs

This worked pretty well. Some of the shirts I did actually soak in soda ash beforehand even though apparently with this product you don't have to do that, and I had some dye left over so I grabbed a couple old white cotton t-shirts applied the dye on them dry, I didn't even wet the shirts and the dye held quite well. I let them sit for around 8 hours before rinsing them out.I did use a shirt that was a more synthetic like material, and I figure the dye wouldn't hold very well in it, but I was kind of surprised that it did. It wasn't as vibrant as the Cotton shirts, but it was worth a try.

I had a white sweatshirt I added HTV to that after a few years has gotten dingy and has a few minor stains that won’t wash out. This was the perfect solution! The kit has everything you need and is simple to set up and use. I did the crumple method, wrapped it with rubber bands and saturated my sweatshirt using all the liquid in the bottles (I did not use the lightest pink color in my kit).I also let it sit about 24 hours as opposed to the 6-8 it recommended before washing. I love the “desert†colors which are earthier and toned down from your classic tie dye colors but they’re still so vibrant.

The light pink didn’t really show well but all the other colors looked good and there was a lot of dye I was able to make 5 baby onesies and one adult shirt and still had dye left over for more
