This is my first tuning fork (528hz) & I LOVE it!! I'm very impressed with the clear, bright tone & the vibration lasts for a good bit of time.In researching these, I've heard that their tone can alter slightly with temperature, your vibration/emotions etc... Striking with the ball stricker or a hockey puck are important for a good activation.As your vibration harmonizes, the tone will improve. If your fork sounds discordant, it may just be your vibe affecting it.I cleared my entire house with it before using it on myself. Stick with it if the tone seems off. It relieved my foot cramp instantly & helped my husband's shoulder.I ordered a full kit (solfeggio) & intend to keep this in my purse; I will always keep this with me for a quick tune up anytime 😊
