The belt is supposed to be snug and especially tighter than the old one on to the underside of the platter! Put the new bet on, replace the platter. Use a small flat head screw driver to move the belt onto the drive pulley thru the access holes (rectangular openings) from the top. Take your time and you will get it! Cheap, easy, routine maintenance/problem solver!

After 8 years of hard use, My Audio Technica LP60 turntable was starting to warble out of timing so I assumed it was the belt. Put this new one on and it's good as new.

First time I ordered it was half the needed length for LP 60 so I returned it and stupid me ordered it again. But this time I got assurances from the shipper that the problem was rectified. Lo and behold , half the size again. I returned it. Finally I went with out Amazon and bought a bought somewhere else for a similar price and this one turned out perfectly.

I needed to replace the belt on the Audio-Technica AT-LP60 and this did the trick. I was noticing my 45rpm records weren’t sounding the best so I replaced the belt and it fixed my issue.
