My old record player was not keeping a consistent speed. So, I decided to get a new turntable. After looking at what's available, I decided to order this Retrolife turntable. It's easy to use. My last player was automatic. This player requires you to pay attention and lift the needle and switch off the platter. When you are listening to records, you have to stick close by to change sides. I tried the Bluetooth feature, it works well, and for someone without a stereo receiver, this is probably a nice way to connect to your bluetooth speakers or headphones. I prefer to use a phono cable to connect the player to my receiver. I did upgrade the audio-technica stylus. The included tan colored stylus sounded a little flat. The red stylus has better bass and just sounds better. It's was a cheap upgrade. Good value, looks cool, plays records. What more do you need?

This record player is made with quality material. Simple, easy to follow set up instructions. Multiple sound output options. This was really easy to connect to my Bluetooth speakers.

Awesome turntable for the money. I have a Fluance RT85 and was just looking for a cheaper solution for my office, but didn't want another Audio-Technica AT-LP60X which is often suggested as the best budget turntable, as it lacks a counterweight and anti skate adjustment. This is less money and not only looks better, has a counterweight, anti skate adjustment, pitch control, and includes the same budget although excellent AT3600L cartridge. The speed was off slightly but was easily corrected with pitch control and there is also an adjustment that can be made by opening up the bottom of the turntable and adjusting the motor speed control screw. I also highly recommend reading 006 reporting's review as that directly lead to my purchase. You can easily upgrade the cartridge to the better AT VM95c or any other of 6 VM95 cartridges which would will really take this turntable up a couple notches. I can't recommend this turntable enough for the money you won't find anything better.

EDIT—-I had no trouble pairing this with my UEBoom2. Then suddenly 3 months later I did. This turntable does NOT have a Bluetooth reset button which some units do. After resetting the speaker, ensuring that the speaker wasnt paired with the iPhones, turning unit on and off many times, and changing the outlet I plugged into .. I found the solution. My husband’s knock off smart watch was the problem. My FitBit watch did not cause a problem. When we turned off his watch’s Bluetooth , I was able to pair turntable to speaker with no issue. I discovered this when he was out of the house , I could pair it. We then tried putting watch in a metal pot with lid on and could pair. Voila! I fixed the problem.*******For $199 with additional $40 coupon you cannot beat this.Setting it up was fairly easy but I did view a couple of videos to better understand how to set the counterweight on arm.Soon as you turn it on, blue light at back indicates Bluetooth connection has been found and it instantly found the UEBoom speaker I’m using, make sure you flip switch to LINE at back.My Roku Streambar Bluetooth settings did NOT find it but I will try to connect using usb cable included.I bought a $30 acrylic platter after one reviewer said it helped reduce static but so far I’ve found the felt platter to be just fine.

Nice player for my old vinyl records. The blue tooth connectivity is a boon as it can be easily connected with my AVR.

Pretty decent turntable. However it is not a very high end device. I bought it for its bluetooth feature and it does a good job there.
