It was great to have the tire at a good working level. I did not anchor the base to anything but I had a helper to stand on a leg. Recommend this stand.

I have a Honda CBR250 L, and I swap between dual-use and pure off-road tires for different types of rides. These are tubed tires (not tubeless) and I use only hand tools to do the changes: a bead breaker tool, three spoons, and a rim protector.Doing this work on the Tusk is much easier than doing it on a flat work bench. The Tusk's center axle holds the wheel in the place while you work your way around the rim, and it prevents damage to the brake rotor. If you find yourself swapping out tires once a year or more, this is a good buy.I mentioned above that I'm working on tubed tires. Tubeless tires, with their much tighter seal of bead against rim, may not benefit as much from the Tusk. If you can't break the bead with a hand tool, and without damaging the rim, this may not be for you. But if you're riding dirt and/or dual sport (anything with spoked wheels), this is a very helpful piece of equipment.

Worked flawlessly, after doing tires on the ground or piece of rebar clamped in a vice this was a huge upgrade. I'm 6'3" and all the way up is perfect height for changing tires.

The axle stud is too larger diameter for a Honda CRF 125 rear wheel. The wheel would only slide over the treaded portion and it bent. Can't seem to find a replacement.

I love this stand and am glad I purchased it. I have used it to change dirtbike tires. No need to bolt it to the floor. The legs come with feet that are easy to stand on.
