I bought this because my cat knocked down my last tv and the screen broke. After almost a year without a TV because I didn’t want to buy another just to have it break again, I finally got a new one. But this time I was sure to make my research to find the best way to protect it from my cat. I ended up buying these traps and so far they’ve worked perfectly for also very cheap in my opinion. Installation was easy, the only problem I encountered was the clamp thing didn’t extend enough to hold on my tv table, I’m not sure how but I ended up making it work, but make sure your table isn’t too thick or installation might get tricky and it won’t work as it should.

My toddler is reaching for everything now and the TVs are no exception. I bought one of these TV anchors already for my place and I liked it enough to get another set for the grandparents' place. It comes with several types of screws. You just have to find the right one that fits into the holes of your TV. It fit the Samsung TV and the Vizio TV that I had. Then you just find an area to anchor it to. For some TV stands, that can be a bit difficult. For example, my glass TV stand didn't have a great anchor point, but I was able to secure it to a post nonetheless.Just make sure your TV has a good, non-slippery feet. Just because the TV is anchored in the back doesn't mean the TV is untippable. If the feet is pushed back from under the TV (as a toddler might do because they can reach the feet), then the TV will still fall forward. And if there is enough slack, it will come tumbling right over. Make sure the feet are grippy on TV stand as well, possibly putting something behind the feet to prevent it from getting pushed too far back.

I'm so glad I got this! We rearranged my loft space to be my office and craft room but that means I had to deal with having the TV on the TV stand since there was nowhere else to put it. My daughter is a toddler now and likes to touch the TV. I don't want it falling on her so I ordered this and my husband quickly put it on and it is amazing. I don't have to stress about her touching the TV and something happening if I'm not standing right next to her.

This review is for PUTOROGA TV Safety Straps, No-Drill Anti-Tip TV Straps for Baby Proofing with Metal C-Clamp, VESA & Adhesive 2 Mounting Options, 304 Stainless Steel Screws, Black. We got this to prep our home in our earthquake-risk area. It might not save the TV but it should give us a few moments to get away from it. It's mainly to keep the visiting toddler from knocking over the big TV. These straps will do the job. They are easy to install using the TV's existing mounting screwholes, and the straps can be tightened once the clamp is attached to the TV stand. Very happy with this.

These anchors are very sturdy and easy to install on your tv. The kit comes with all the supplies you will need to install too. My husband and I have gone back and forth about deciding to hang our TV on the wall or not and this is a perfect solution for while we decide or even if we decide not to. For months we had to put things in front of our TV stand to block our babies from possibly knocking the TV over and this is a great solution for baby proofing. I especially like how it is no drill and straightforward to install.

I like that this is an alternative to anchoring into a wall stud. I have a heavy piece of furniture that serves as the anchor (and I didn't want to drill in to that either). The C clamp itself is sturdy but not very thick. Once in place, it should hold most TVs in place. Each arm of the webbing can be adjusted making it easy to fine tune the straps without having to redo the entire thing. Comes with an assortment of metric screws for the backs of TVs on the VESA mount area.
