It's just rope. I use it on my glass shower doors where I took the knobs off because they were dangerous. These don't lose color or fray or anything. And look nice in my bathroom.

I ordered a 50ft piece of rope, and what I got was several pieces of the rope tied together. It wasn't very good quality rope and was fraying upon use. I really feel like they just put together scraps of the green rope to equal 50ft. I can't even use it for it's intended purpose.
