This completely traps scents and has no need for special bags. We just use standard kitchen bags. We had it for almost three months before we even found the need to air it out. I just set it outside for a few hours and it came back in without a smell attached to it. Just be careful not to stuff it too full. There is a place where a bag can get caught and rip if you try to squeeze it out. For my three month old though, we can generally got 3 days or more without having to empty it. And, again, without any smell issues.

This is a great diaper pail! The lid keeps the smell locked in and there’s plenty of room for a few days worth of diapers! The light weight design makes taking out the trash easy. And the compact design allows it to easily fit anywhere in her room. It’s the perfect shade of pink for my babies nursery. We do not use a liner so we save money along the way (there’s no need to) Great design, great buy!

I know this is a diaper pail, but after seeing the family that I nanny for’s one I had to get it for my apartment. It’s great for my room and kitchens bc it really keeps out smells and cuts down on flies or gnats. 100% would recommend. It fits and regular trash bag. Is a little skinny, would definitely buy another one if they made a bigger size.

This is the 2nd Ubbi diaper pail I've owned. I loved it so much that I bought another when my 2nd child was born. They come in several cute colors, and the shade of pink I ordered is just perfect for our nursery. I love that you can use regular kitchen trash bags. My only complaint is that it does emit a bad odor whenever you open the pail to throw away diapers, but I feel that this is somewhat expected from a diaper pail. I prefer that over having to buy specific trash bags for it.

easy to clean and keeps my kids out of it. I put my kids down for a nap and you can usually find the two year old sitting on top off the ubbi trying to open it or trowing it around the room(still a home battle). has not payed open one bit and its easy to clean and keeps smells inside the can. highly recomend this to a parent. never looking at another brand again.

This is the best Diaper Pail cost so much money but it's worth it especially if you are doing the cloth diaper system. We are cloth diapering with our child and we are first time parents. We also have a Husky who is very smart and every clever with it comes to his curiosity. This keeps the cloth diapers in the smell hidden from all as well as look great. We have this pail near the Graco N'Play which is in our living room. People pass in and out of our house and never realize they are passing the cloth diaper pail!

Love. Most diaper pails are ugly plastic looking things. This one works great and comes in amazing colors. It's smaller than I thought it would be and at first I was bummed about that. But after taking out my first full bad of gross diapers, I was very glad that it wasn't any bigger!! It's the perfect size. Keeps in most smells, only the really horrendous ones need to be immediately taken out!

So glad I went for this nappy bin! Much nicer than plastic ones, easy to load and unload a bag into it and great you can just use household bin bags. It was a bit smaller than i was expecting but that makes it non-intrusive in the room and it lasts up to 4 days with the nappies of my newborn twins (and that's a lot of nappies!). Keeps the smell in perfectly, great smooth mechanist to slide the lid backwards. A must for keeping your room nappy fragrance free! I'm going to be buying this for all my friends who have new babies! Emily

This is the best nappy bin. Looks gorgeous, holds heaps of nappies and keeps the smell inside. Works with normal kitchen bin liners too. Love it!

Read a lot of reviews to compare mainly between this and Genie. We decided to go with Ubbi and we love the look and its function overall. we never noticed any smell and liked the fact that we don't have to buy any special plastic bags for this. Easy to handle. It is a bit pricey but we would buy this again. One point to nitpick is that we wish there was some rubber at the bottom from moving or making screeching sound against our tile floor in bathroom. I guess if you put this on carpet floor, there will not be any problem.
