Connecticut Electric manufactures new high quality replacement circuit breakers for Wadsworth load centers that accept Wadsworth Type A style circuit breakers. Circuit breakers should only be replaced with new tested and Safety Agency Listed circuit breakers, never used or refurbished ones.

This 120 volt Wadsworth 20 amp, single pole replacement circuit breaker is used in a Wadsworth load center. Typical applications, up to 2,200 watts, include kitchen circuits, branch circuits, wall receptacles, electric heaters (up to 1,650 watts), dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, window air conditioners (110V, up to 5,500 BTU) and electric motors (3/4 hp to 1-1/4 hp). These are only suggested applications and cannot assure compliance with all local codes. Please check local electrical codes before starting any electrical project.

Arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed! Needed a 20 amp to replace a 15 amp I was using for my cistern pump. It had 12 gauge wire so it could handle the increase.My newer pump was 1 HP so it was borderline for a 15 amp. My panel is a 42 year old Wadsworth. This breaker fit perfectly. They are hard to find locally.

Well made Wadsworth circuit breaker. Just what I needed to while rewiring an old, discontinued load box made by Wadsworth. Though costly compared to other manufacturers, it is good to be able update this older panel instead of replacing the entire one with a Sq D, Siemens, ITE version.
