I have one for home and one I keep in my backpack for travel.Great for use on my nightstand since I don’t need multiple chargers and can charge my phone, AirPods and Apple Watch at the same time.I really like the three blue indicator lights that verify the items are placed correctly on the pads and charging.Very nice for travel. Folds up and fits in the bag I have my charging cables in without taking up much room. Also helps with overseas travelers not having to have two adapters for a charger for my phone and watch and really nice for redeye flights when you only have one outlet available for being able to charge my phone, airports and watch while I sleep.Only complaint is that is doesn’t charge the phone as fast as a regular charger, so I use my regular charger if my battery life is low on my phone and I need a quick charge, but great for overnight charging.

The textured box wrap with silver foil printing makes for a nice gift presentationLOOK & FEELFor all the magnetic charging functions (phone, watch, Airpods) this unit provides one might expect it to weigh twice as much. Without the charging pod, one could easily put the pad and cord into a pocket and almost forget it’s there. The minimalistic design and footprint keeps it clean and simple for a night stand or kitchen counter area.FUNCTIONI tested the magnetic charging functions for all our Apple devices (phone, watch and pods) and had no problems – all devices charged without detection of worrisome or excess heat.SUMMARYAfter taking this charger on a brief overnight trip, the two accessories which are lacking is a travel pouch and slide-on plug protector. These accessories aren’t needed if you use the factory box, but at a size of approximately 6.875†x 4.25 x 1.375†I would prefer something smaller and easier to pack.

It works but for my older phone it doesn’t charge as fast and gets hot. Has not over heated. My 2nd/ newer phone works fine with it.
