This bracket is good in most respects.1) It uses a wing nut to secure the post to the wall bracket. This wing nut isn't strong enough to hold the post tightly in place. It doesn't take much force to swing the bracket, even when the nut is tight.2) It's painted with a thin coat of white paint that scratches off easily. If you're concerned about moisture and rust, you might want to paint it yourself.I used this to mount a UeeVii wireless bridge. It works fine for that. It could probably be used to mount various other devices.

Went to use this item, ended up throwing it away. There's a pivot point on the bottom to adjust it. The slightest weight on it and it starts to fall down. Went to tighten the two wing nuts to keep it from falling down and both of them broke right off..don't waste your money.

We did not need this so we did a return. The unit we were going to mount it on mounted directly to our building. But I believe it would have worked great if we would have needed it.
