This thing is pretty handsome in its own right, but the fact that it came with EASY TO UNDERSTAND INSTRUCTIONS was a real plus! Add to that the fact that IT REALLY WORKS, as in it switches EVERYTHING: My Monitor, my Keyboard, my Mouse, even my USB hub (which has a fussy "dongle" required for a high-end machining program..), and... And, it has the little "box" containing the button you see in the ad and, one press of the button and in seconds I'm using an entirely different PC / Desktop / Monitor with all of my familiar ancillary stuff, and it all just WORKS so FIVE STARS for UGreen! Yay!

I was wary of buying a UGREEN USB switch based on feedback I had heard from others that they used USB-A to USB-A cables for the connection between the switch and each computer. If you don't know why this is bad, just know that if you were to plug that cable into anything else other than the USB switch, you could fry the port or the entire device.But, this particular UGREEN USB switch has USB-C ports for the computer connections instead, fixing that problem.Other than that, I am pleased with the build quality, functionality, and the USB switcher is a pretty big plus.

As the "headline" states, it's working. BUT here's the catch. It only comes with 2 cables. 1 - USB-C cable, and 1 - USB-A to USB-C cable. The 2nd one is the "optional" power cord. The USB-A end plugs into a computer and the USB-C end plugs into the switch to provide some "extra" power if a higher refresh rate is needed. That leaves ONE cable to run from the switch to ONE of the TWO computers you bought the switch to operate, WTH??? Why isn't there TWO USB-C cables? One to connect to each computer. So I used the "optional power cord" for one of the computers. Speaking of that. I bought 2 female USB-C to male USB-A convertors when I saw that the cables for hooking up to your computers were USB-C. I have multiple "A" ports available, but there was only one "C" port on each of my computers, and it was already being used. Just be aware of this stuff. I have my keyboard, mouse & printer hooked up. Everything seems fine, so far...

Has mouse+keyboard+mic+webcam set to switch between personal pc & work laptop.It works great, and the little button is great to have it switchable without reaching my hand back to the actual switch. I have it powered with the optional USB power to avoid weird cutouts and it seems to work (although I haven't tested without it).Switching from Linux (kernel 6.6 lts) -> Windows 11 is very fast (1-2sec), the reverse is somewhat slower (3-6sec). In terms of actual functionality, I've noticed no issues whatsoever. Mouse/keyboard/mic/webcam have all worked exactly as expected.I only wish there were 1-3 more ports for devices. I've considered adding a USB hub but I already have this device running through a hub on my laptop, not sure it'd play nice with more.

Was able to switch between two computers connected to multiple screens. Although it does not recognize hdmi on the other end, displayport monitors worked with no issues.

I have two pcs on my desk, and prior to adding this two large keyboards and mice. Didn't know these existed until I stumbled across them here, so had been suffering the clutter awhile. Have had it running for a short time now so can't attest to it's lengthy lifespan, but so far it's awesome. Currently only using to swap kb, but tested and mouse works as well. Very slight delay when swapping, and as soon as I see kb start to light back up I know I'm good to type. Haven't noticed any input lag or issues so far but I'm also just an average user that wouldn't notice an extra 1/1000 of a millisecond. Would recommend for similar situations for sure, and most definitely appreciate the desk space!

The pictures on the Amazon page show this device working with wireless dongles and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Wireless devices do not work with it and if you read the product documentation closely you will see that do not recommend wireless devices be used with it.Extremely misleading to have pictures with wireless devices when you do not support them. I already returned this item.

First off, BEWARE. This device comes in multiple configurations. Pay attention to which one you're choosing, for your workflow.This one supports switching a number of USB A/C ports between 2 PCs. Im using it for switching a mouse and keyboard between a desktop and laptop computer.This has a supplemental power port, which allows it to function when both devices are off, if you need your keyboard and mouse to be detectable by the computer's BIOS at boot time, for example, or to remember which device was previously selected after both devices power off.The supplemental power is optional though. The ugreen switch works if only one device is actually connected or powered on, but during boot of my desktop with no laptop connected, it doesn't detect a keyboard and mouse, probably because the USB hub hasn't been activated so early in the boot cycle. The keyboard and mouse are ready without any user intervention by the time windows is ready to log in.I 3D printed some 5mm brackets which tuck it up out of the way under my desk, and its one of those devices I suspect will be a "forget about" kind of thing.

Bought this switch so I could share keyboard and mice combo with 2 laptop.The discrete provided switch clicker has a decent cable length and working very well but it is optional.There's a light blue LED indicator on top of the switch box that's telling you which channel is operating.Having one of the laptop having exclusively USB-C ports and the other one having the older version of USB ports and no USB-C port, this switch is a perfect fit to share the Keyboard & Mice (1 USB dongle 2,4Ghz).It's also acting as a USB Hub for both laptop without having any concern about which type of USB the peripheral have.It doesn't require to be powered up if you don't have any power consuming peripherals attached to it.I had to plug it in via my USB-C charger only when I had my external SSD connected to it since it require power to operate but I don't leave it plugged in all the time.Overall, very nice, well built, quality switch that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great product, must to have if you are dealing with 2 PC. Works seamlessly with my mac mini and gaming pc.Easy to install and as per the price its go for it deal, worth every penny.Switching speed is great less than 2 seconds it switched and for connectivity it comes with 2 high quality cables which do the job perfectly.

Compré este switch USB-C de UGREEN para usar un mismo teclado y ratón en dos ordenadores sin tener que estar conectando y desconectando cables todo el tiempo, y la verdad es que ha sido una solución perfecta.La instalación es plug & play, no hace falta ningún software ni configuración complicada, simplemente conectar y listo. La conmutación entre dispositivos es rápida y fluida con solo pulsar un botón, sin cortes ni problemas de detección. Además, los 4 puertos USB me permiten conectar también un disco duro externo sin perder velocidad (los 5Gbps de transferencia van genial).El botón de cambio con el controlador de escritorio es un detalle súper útil, porque no tienes que estar tocando el switch directamente.
