This is perfect for a 2-3 seater couch, but cannot accommodate a larger chaise. Worked well to protect my cushions during a move and didn’t rip at all.

I have had couch covers for a long long time due to having a dog who has accidents and people who also have accidents. My last one i got from uhaul lasted with constant use over 6 months. Normally i go to the uhaul store and just buy them but this time with the snow, ice, appointments, i could not get out to get them. I decided to take a chance and see if amazon and uhaul were here. Glad they were! Now i have to change out the cover i have over my couch (which is carpet plastic padding) to my usual sofa cover. I bought two so these should last a year between the two with constant use. They are heavy enough to protect with a normal fabric cover over them and light enough not to drive you crazy putting them on! I do have to say also that If you are going to use these as a pet protector to put some kind of blanket or couch fabric cover over them otherwise you will end up sliding all over the couch! Tuck the rest under your couch to protect from your dog or feet on the bottom. Specially useful this time of year if you are in an area with salt and snow! They're not shaped like a sofa... rather than having 4 corners for each corner of the sofa, it's just 2 rectangles sealed on 3 edges. So long- wise it worked great, but front- to- back it didn't reach the bottom of either front or back without leaving half of the other side wide open. It was designed, but not designed for a sofa

I would not recommend buying this to cover a couch. The fit is not right and the quality of the material is like a regular plastic bag which means you will really have to move with care or it will rip.
