The recharging unit for my Kindle Fire arrived very promptly. When I plugged it in, it immediately started my Kindle charging. I had misplaced my charging unit a year or more ago, and since I didn’t want to remove it from the case, I couldn’t tell which version of Kindle Fire I had! It came with a very long cord and had both a USB and US-C ends.

I don't know whether to spend more time attempting to get this charging cord to work, or whether to give up and return it for refund. The USB C is very difficult to get to slide over the micro. And once in place either doesn't charge or charges slowly. And guess what, once the USB C is in place over the micro, I find I'm unable to remove it. It's a very tight fit .... too tight for me to be able to remove. In the past, I have used a similar charging cord and like the convenience of having one cord work with micro or USB C devices. I doubt this one will actually charge either. Perhaps I received a faulty cord, dunno.

Be sure you know what you are ordering and for what application. This unit is exactly what we ordered, installed and works perfectly. Connectivity is exact. When ordering anything from Amazon, do your own search to make sure that what you order is what you need and that it will work. This way you don’t have to go thru the return process which may require you to use multiple drop off points.ðŸ‘ðŸ¤

I like it and I used it for other devices such as headphones and other tablets. I charging my headphones with the charging cable and it works good. The length is reaching good and the quality is good, as long as I use the right devices no problem. Thanks you Amazon.
