I just got this belt last week and I used it for belt squatting for the first time. It is so much more comfortable than traditional belt squatting belts and made a world of difference for me. It's a great product, hopefully it holds up for the long term.

I’ve had a lumbar issue, so squatting with the barbell on my shoulders was not a good option. Belt squats seemed like the next best option. I researched several different dip belts and squat belts. This one is perfect. It’s very well made. Cinches around the waist so it won’t slip, and is very easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

I like that it stays on due to the strap inside the belt, instead of falling down when I finish a set. Comfort is good. Great construction - this will last

The THEFITGUY Ultimate Belt for Belt Squats is a solid option for those looking to incorporate belt squats into their training without a full machine. While it does the job, there are a few issues that keep it from being a five-star product. What I Liked:✔ Comfortable Fit (to an Extent) – The belt is wide enough to distribute weight fairly well, reducing pressure on the lower back and hips compared to standard lifting belts. It works well for moderate weights.✔ Good Build Quality – The materials feel durable, and the stitching seems strong enough to handle regular use.✔ Easy to Use with a Rack Attachment – The design allows for a quick and easy setup with a landmine or squat rack attachment, making it convenient for home gym setups. What Could Be Better:➖ Not Ideal for Heavy Lifting – When going heavy, the belt starts to dig into the hips, making it uncomfortable during long sets. The padding could be improved for better weight distribution.➖ Limited Adjustability – The strap adjustments don’t always provide the perfect fit, especially for shorter or taller lifters. Some users may find it either too tight or too loose.➖ Price vs. Performance – For the price, I expected better comfort and support, especially when compared to other belts in the same range. It works, but there are better options out there for serious lifters.Final Thoughts:This belt is decent for casual or moderate belt squat use, but if you’re lifting heavier weights or training frequently, you might want to consider a more padded and ergonomic option. It’s good, not great, and could use some improvements in comfort and adjustability. Still, it’s a functional tool for belt squats if you’re willing to work around its limitations.

Finally set it up with my belt squat on my Rack. Today I was doing sets of eight to ten Reps with eight 45lb plates. The Belt worked as advertised. Super solid and comfortable. Anybody know what poundage the belt is rated to hold?

I bought this belt because my existing dip belts weren't comfortable for use in belt squats. Unfortunately I ran into the same issue with this belt when belt squatting as the side of the hanging straps would dig into my inner thighs. Rather than pay 3 times the price for the pillow belt from spud inc i simply wrapped/taped a double layer of pipe lagging foam around the straps edges and voila much more comfortable. Good points for this belt are the adjustable waist strap and the adequate padding on the belt itself. It also seems plenty strong enough, though I've only tested it to 120 kg
