A little smaller than life size but the quality is good. Scent smells exactly like a pheasant.

Seems to work! My dog is 2 years old and this will be his second season both waterfowl and pheasant hunting. I have a thick wetlands behind my home we use to work with the dogs and I've been tossing a dummy out for him to find a retrieve. With this, I put the scent on the dummy and then moved it around the front of the property, then into the wetlands in the back. Right out the door he found the scent and followed it to the dummy. So it works!

This dummy has a lot of great features and the one thing I wish was better would be a place to put scent on it so it would soak in as it is mostly waterproof and the scent runs off. It is well built and works well, although much smaller than a pheasant...more the size of a chuckar.The scent is absolutely worthless though, even when I pour out 1/4 the bottle on a rag and hide it in a bush, NO DOG (even the best hunters) even point it at all or pay attentinon to it... The scent is a waste of money but the dummy is an ok item.

I expected the dummy to be a representative size of a live pheasant. It's not even close, it's more the size of a pigeon. Very disappointed.
