Not capable of 16.6 amps. The unit shuts itself off and resets at 13-14 amps and reads 9v shortly before shutting off. Don’t waste your time or money on this unit if you need it to operate at or around its advertised rating.

At 16.6 amps it should be enough for those 8kw diesel heaters but it is not. Just about the time it’s ready to fire the voltage has dropped under 9v.

Works great. More than enough power to run three battery chargers for Mini-Z racing. Running two Lipo chargers at 1.5A each and a AAA four cell charger at up to 2A. There is 30+ amps available to charge a 2cell HV Lipo.

I was confused to see this note after opening the power supply packaging. This item came used and seemingly broken.
