I am FREAKING out over how cool these are! They arent very bright, thats the only down side. But they are very small, just a little bigger than a chemical glowstick, which is what I wanted. The silicone (??) sleeves are great, I was spinning these real fast and they collided in air...i was really scared for like a half second, but they didnt even blink! They use a AAA battery and have a buncha flashing AND solid modes. These are a perfect replacement to the cheap coleman LED sticks i was spinning. I just wish they were a little brighter.!!!!!!!!!!EDIT:!!!!! I only just now today had to change the batteries in ONE of the 2 (been a week) and it was WAAAAY brighter. Turns out I must have been using old batteries, these things are ALMOST as bright as a FRESH chemical glowstick. They are VERY bright, thats my fault I put old batteries in mine. You should use BRAND new fresh batteries and these suckers will melt your face!! Why am i still typing?! i gotta get back to spinning these things!! UPGRADED TO 5 STARS!

I love these. They are mostly well made. I play with them daily and for hours at a time. Been spinning for about a year with poi. My first set were the poi pods and I liked them a bit more. Being able to recharge without worrying about batteries is nice. I just had one of the switches stop working last night and im not sure why or if its something I can fix possibly. I am having a panic issue over sending it in and having to wait for a new one to ship. I do love the colors, brightness and the small handles are better for me than the straps. The value is decent. Especially with a lifetime warranty. I wish i was rich or at expert level so I could try all of the different toys. My life has improved tremendously since I discovered poi! My arms are solid and never looked better. Even when I was a gym nut. Its effortless for me to spin. I've been a dancer all my life. Its the greatest joy I know! Connects me to my body, slows my mind and soothes my soul plus a certain grace flowing through my days. Im so greatful for poi in my life. They are a daily joy and I can't wait to light up the beach at night. People sit on the hotel balconies and watch at night and I get great smiles and compliments the next day. I think I'm going to work on a video and pray for sponsorship. Thanks everyone for your hard work and creativity.

Ready to go out of the box. Takes a few tries to figure out the light mode. In the beginning, they feel lighter than what I normally spin, but its personal preference. The silicon cover feels a bit flimsy to fully protect the plastic Light up component. The strings are fully adjustable and the swivel is awesome for many tricks.The glow knobs are super fun and help creating extra effects at night.Overall, they are great products and would highly recommend it to friends.

Bought these for a friend that we flow with, and they came packaged well and work wonderfully. Tons of settings, can't really complain.Howeverrrrr, we aren't the best and sometimes we end up hitting the poi together as we are spinning. It didn't take more than a couple times for these to end up with a problem. Even through the protective case one hit the other's battery cover and caused an issue. It dented the battery just a tiny bit. The poi ended up only being able to have certain light settings and basically didn't work like the other one after. I contacted customer service and had to show proof of the issue and go through some protocols. Before they could do anything, the problem ended up fixing itself somehow after sitting a couple weeks.So while the product does work correctly again, we are all still weary about using them and breaking them anymore until we get better.For a more seasoned flow artist these are a great idea and the colors are beautiful, but I would get a more durable pair like the tear-drop shaped rubbery ones for beginners.

You have toset the custom colors according tothe advice sheet which is really rubbish and unhelpful. All I want is the rainbow on both to go slowly and trying to figure out how to do that is almost impossible given the advice on the sheet that come with the poi. Also the hand hold is a little small and needs to be adjusted. They don't really sit comfortably in my hands.

If they worked I would of loved them but unfortunately i had to return my first set immediately after getting them, cause one of the 4 lights wouldn't turn "on".... & Now just my luck, I got a second set, but one of the 4 lights won't turn "off" & they were all sticky!!! Definitely won't be ordering again, cause that's just absurd!!
