Q1: The sensor range seems quite short. How can I get 50FT?
A1: Please kindly check the following when using our security lights:
1.Please make sure if there is any obstacles around the motion sensor
2.Please make sure the sensor head down
3.Please make sure the motion sensor is horizental to the ground
Q2: How high can this security light be mounted?
A2: Recommended installation height: 6.5FT - 8.2FT
Q3: Can it be eave/soffit mounted?
A3: Make sure the motion sensor face outside when mounting on eave/soffit.
Q4: How can I use D2D mode? Can the light work all the night?
A4: The light has both motion mode and D2D mode, it means it will not light up in the daytime, only will be triggered at night (NOT light on all night) .

Nice and bright needing very little energy. I installed inside my garage so as soon as I walk in or pull in, this helps light up the whole garage. I set it to stay on for 3 mins, though easily adjustable to stay on for 1 or 10 mins instead.

Seems a little less motion sensitive than my last one, which is actually better because I want to limit to something in my driveway, instead of every car that passes by.These are BRIGHT, try not to look directly at them. But they do light up the driveway better than my old halogen ones.I'm not sure that I'd trust the waterproofing, they want you to provide your own caulk to seal on top of the flat foam doughnut provided. Luckily for me I have an overhang directly above it to protect it too.Installing doesn't take any special skill other than patience. Find/ turn off the breaker. Remove the old light. Place the foam doughnut where it goes. Connect the wires inside electrical caps to matching wires (black = green = ground). At this point I like to tape the wires together just below the caps, so they don't fall off, but be sure to use actual electrical tape. Now the tricky part is cramming all the wires into the tiny tiny cubby while lining up the hole to screw into. Screw in tight. Turn breaker back on, set to test, and confirm they work. Apply the screw cap. Apply caulk. Set to 1, 3, or 10 minutes. So as you can see, a good chunk of time, silicone caulk, electrical tape, and maybe an extra set of hands, and you won't have to pay a handyman.

Update: so far so good. Seems to detect motion when walking around the area which covers the pathway to the side yard gate, or walking by the corner towards the front. First month, it’s been working well.For our needs on the front corner of our house, this light is working as desired. No sensitivity adjustment for motion and not adjustable for the light intensity. But the built in dusk to dawn sensor seems decent. Testing motion, it’s working well. Not exactly sure on the range, but it’s mounted about 12 ft high and seems to detect me walking by fairly quickly. It’s plenty bright enough for our needs. Flipping the switch quickly to turn on our other lights does not work for this one, but that’s not an issue for us. It’s easy enough to adjust the positioning. Ours is mounted horizontally under an eave. The support cross bar fit our box perfectly, but I did have to use the old shorter screws. I taped the gasket to the back side of the light fixture to keep it from flopping around. The longest screw apparently had some bad threads and I could not get it to catch. I used the next to longest which was a bit of a pain to keep from slipping out since it was too short to finger grip and I had to hold the fixture with my left hand while trying to manipulate the screwdriver with my right hand while balancing against top two rungs of ladder. Anyway, I managed to catch the threads and tighten screw to snug up the fixture. Overall, it’s a good deal for basic functionality with reasonable motion detection and bright coverage. For our simple needs, it’s a good deal.

It must be hardwired ( I ran an old extension cord thru the garage wall to an outlet) but works well for security. Bright light.

Replaced an old motion sensor light at a shop door entrance. Easy to install, fully adjustable sensor and lights (including the amount of time stays on). Good quality bright light! Highly recommend.

Bright, fewer false alarms then the light it replaced, don't have to worry about buying bulbs, low energy use, easy install. What's not to like? It has quit working not even 4 months later. 3 year warranty is advertised.UPDATE on 05-17-2024 Was able to contact the seller, and had a very pleasant conversation with a company rep. They are going to send me a new light. The problem with the light was a water leak into one of the bulbs shorting out the electronics. The installation was under the eaves of the garage. Since I really liked this light, I'm going to go through the extra trouble to seal everything I can with silicone with the hope that this will solve the leakage problem. Yeah, I know it says it's waterproof, but..........NEW UPDATE Did get the new light. Installed & did seal everything with silicone.

The website leads me to believe the device has a dusk to dawn flood light cability. There are at least two videos that imply the same thing. However, I installed the device and it did not come on at dusk as I thought that it should have. It would only come on (at dusk or later) when it sensed motion. I was intending to purchase a dawn to dusk flood light system with a daylight sensor capability. The daylight sensor capability worked very well and the device was easy to install. If you are looking only for a dusk to dawn sensing device. This appears to be a good choice.
