This is a high quality press with great weight to it. I use it as a sandwich press and burger press on my griddle. It is made from cast iron with a wood handle. Cleanup is a breeze just treat it after washing with a light coat of oil. Makes terrific smash burgers. What makes it even better is the price which is approximately 25% off the stores prices. Keeps meat flat on the grill or in pan like it should. Hope wood handle holds up in closed grill, so far so good. I put foil over it for easy cleanup. Also seasoned the cast iron with vegetable oil to prevent rust.
