I bought this to try catfish fillets on the grill. It worked great. Just make sure to put a bit of some type of oil or whatever you want to use to make sure it does not stick to the grates in it. I made that mistake on the go around and the fish cooked but stuck and fell apart.

...and exactly as it was advertised / described!I use it (mostly) for grilling fish, it makes flipping flaky fillets simple and "crumble-proof". As fish cooks it becomes a chore to keep it intact while attempting to flip with a spatula, but this grill-basket works PERFECTLY to keep everything together. And since the basket handles extend outside the grill cover they don't get hot AT ALL.By its nature this basket is a bit tricky to clean - especially if your kitchen sink doesn't have large, deep bowls. But with a little patience and care the job of cleaning all four surfaces gets done.If you're tired of losing fish bits through your grill grates then this basket is what you need. You'll appreciate is simplicity and efficiency.

I used this grilling basket to grill fish in my BBQ so that I won't have to flip the fish manually with a spatula(which usually cases the fish to fall apart on the grill), so for that purpose, this grill basket works ok. But there's a design flaw in the retaining clip that holds the two sides together because that ring can sometimes slide off the two handle pieces, which causes the basket to open up and all the food to fall out on the grill or on my floor. Otherwise, the basket ok - the stainless steel is solid and the wooden handle has held up to near weekly use even though its subjected to pretty high heat.

It’s not smooth around the edges and it feels like cheap wiring could melt in the girl. Around the edges and corner it’s rough. I probably will have to return the item. Poor poor quality

Good product and. Looks good after a few uses. The Bastet is tiny and not useful and nothing like he picture but the main grill basket thing is quite good.

It is not unco branded. It does not have one side joined. Just a cheap wire holding one end. Seller is giving wrong description
