UPDATE... The seller reached out to me and sent a replacement light without being asked to do so. A very kind and magnanimous gesture of goodwill. The replacement works perfectly. I've changed to 5 stars because the seller is committed to complete customer satisfaction and because the replacement works perfectly>This light is everything that I hoped for. I use it as a light over my desk, attached to the underside of the shelf above the area where my laptop resides. It is just the right size, brightness and color temperature. It attached easily with the included double sided tape.It has an odd quirk though - when I turn it off for more than a couple of minutes, it will not turn back on when I press the switch. I have to unplug it from the USB power source and plug it back in for it to come back on. At first, I thought it might be the included USB power adapter but I've since tried it with two other USB power sources and it does the same thing.Its a shame since in every other regard, it is exactly what I needed.

Nice overall. A nice compact size easily hidden under a cabinet or shelf. Quality seems good (time will tell). They are a nice warm light, not glaring, great for shelves. For me, I use them to illuminate my Hi Fi system at night when I like to listen in very low light.I read many other reviews that claim these will not work with a Smart Plug, that they will need to be manually turned back on each time the smart plug is switched on, but this was not the case for me. I turn them on and dim them to my liking using the provided switch (which, nicely, can be bypassed), then turn them off with the smart plug. When I turn them back on they come on, and are set to the last dimming level. Perhaps they fixed this in later revisions? I use KASA smart plugs.So, for now, 5 stars. Let's see how long they last!

It's bright enough to cook on the range at night without any other light sources. Touch control is one button, simple operation, runs well from wall plug with the included 5v USB adapter it's built small but efficient and bright.

2nd order of Under counter "kitchen" lights, and we Love them!The double sided tape holds everything securely, the included clips are low profile and work great to tuck and hide the wires, and the plug in links of wires, switches and lights are a simple install.I bought 9 kits, and I installed 6 in our living room built-ins as well as 3 under my kitchen cabinets.I did give a 4 out of 5 star rating, simply because of an issue with the on/off/dimmer when used in conjunction with a timer or smart plug: The description says "The lights will automatically come back on to the brightness level you last had it at." and that is misleading; if you plug into a timer or wifi outlet, they will not turn on after power is cut; you have to go to each light kit and push the button on the on/off/dimmer. This didn't work for us, since we installed 6 sets in the living room, and we were not about to get up and feel around for 6 buttons in 6 different places every night. My work-around was to leave the on/off/dimmer links out of my living room setup. We plugged the power sources into my smart plugs, skipped the on/off/ dimmer and went from there directly to the first light. Now I can turn all of my built-ins lights on/off through a smart plug group on an app! But we did give up the ability to dim in doing so. My wife and I like the level of brightness in my built-ins on each side of the fireplace, and it doesn't appear to be distracting while watching television. But if anyone ever thinks it is, we can simply turn the lights off through the smart plug phone app. It would have been nice had the dimmers come on after the power was cut, but not a deal breaker.The cool white lights make our shelves "pop" and looks really clean! My wife said everything is beautiful!I did install the on/off/dimmer links on the 3 kits (containing 9 lights) I used in the kitchen. We needed to be able to just reach over and flick them on and off when preparing meals. I installed two lights from a kit on the coffee bar section, 5 lights on the main section, and 2 lights at the adjacent office nook... Utilized 3 kits, using all 9 lights, in the configuration I wanted, and everything worked Perfectly!And the level of brightness is perfect for use under the kitchen cabinets as well as in the office nook!I just wish they offered the ability to order extra segments of different lengths of wire if needed. A few of the wire links were stretched to the max!!!Highly recommended!

Very easy to install with double sided sticky tape . Clips to hold electric chord are strong and also stick well . Light is bright and works great (above oven)

Perfect light for under the tool cabinet and lights the work bench fully. Several stickers were given along with extra to move light if needed. Additionally, came with clips to secure light cord so it does not hang down

These are bright and slim under cabinet lighting. I typically do a lot of research when purchasing something and thought these were more of a rechargeable light that disconnects the cable at the unit. I thought the cord detached from the light so there wouldn't be the cord hanging around unless I was charging, but the cord is attached to the light and it disconnects at the outlet. Not at all what I was looking for. Really bummed about that because I'm not installing them and having a 3-4 foot cord that I have to try to conceal. Feel like the description wasn't entirely clear, but be honestly, that would be my negligence in confirming.
