This set is absolutely HEAVY DUTY with regards too the steel used to make these brackets. We know how heavy our truck tool boxes can get, and this set will hold them in place, PERIOD! The holes are drilled in convenient spacing to adapt to nearly anything, so pretty much fits all trucks and whatever you're trying to secure. Did I say they're strong? I think you could mount these on a steel wall and hang the truck AND the toolbox on the wall. Well, maybe not, but you get the idea!GET EM'!!!

While I do like that fact that it comes with all the hardware you need including the spacers if needed, it does lack the whole "heavy duty" that these should be.I've bought other brackets in the past for holding underbody tool boxes on my semi trucks and they were very thick and a lot more sturdy.These ones are a lot thinner and very questionable should they start rusting... Which is what they're going to do in the winter.For the price these will cost you, it wouldn't be too hard to find something that will last a lot longer.

I'm using these brackets to replace a damaged set on my truck. The steel is not as thick as my old one but should be able to do the job. I'm using this to mount a generator which weighs around 300 pounds. The brackets hold up with no issues so far. The powder coating is OK, but I recommend adding some undercoating on it for those living in the north where snow and salt dominate the winter streets. This set comes with hardware as well which is appreciated so I don't have to go digging for additional hardware to mount my generator.

This is an ok set of underbody mounting brackets. They are not as heavy duty as they should be which leads me to question how long they will last.I do appreciate that all the mounting hardware was included though.When it comes to the price, these are severely over priced. I have purchased brackets that are of much better quality for half the price.My advice is to shop around.
