Only used once so far and very impressed! Compared to a friend's $200 Aqua-vu while ice fishing in 25' of water and the image quality was very similar. Only downfall is that it starts in Chinese so had to spend 2 minutes to find how to change the language to English. It does stay on English after setting it. Very happy with this cheap option! Will post pics after I use it more.

I got this underwater camera for general kayak fishing and also for magnet fishing from bridges. The monitor takes about 10 seconds to power up and show an image. What I received appears to be an upgrade to what the pictures show. The camera body is black anodized aluminum. It has longer stainless steel legs to keep the camera straight while underwater and a better float than what is shown. It has a removable rubber cover that goes over the camera and contains the foam float. There is also a hollow tube in the center of the steel legs for rigging it to some fishing line. The camera image is very clear and has a switch on the side of the monitor to turn the Infrared Light on and off. IR light works very well and illuminates dark, murky water pretty good. I recommend to cast or throw the camera in the water first and then plug in to the monitor. This will prevent the small length of wire coming off the bottom of the spool from twisting up. Not a deal breaker, but the menu language is in Chinese. Since I can't read Chinese, I am not sure if it has an option to enable English menus. I plan to use my phone to translate the menus next time I use it to find out. All in all it's a nice compact camera that can be deployed quickly and easily.
