I needed to replace the filter in my above ground pool. The old one was very discolored and quickly clogged up. it got to a point where I had to spray it out every week. This filter is much cheaper than my local pool store (Leslie's Pool Supply), so I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed! I used it for about 2 months this summer and only just closed my pool. After cleaning the filter it still looks pretty white and was working great right up until I closed the pool. While I did clean it out a couple times during the 2 months of use, it wasn't because it was clogged, but because I went on vacation and came back to an algae bloom, which I vacuumed into the filter and had to clean out. As others have pointed out, this filter has a support beam in the center of it which I thought was a good addition. I'm very happy with this filter and I think you will be too!

As expected as the seasons change it came time to replace our pool filter and upon seeing the price on Amazon ($50) vs the price at my local pool store ($90) the opportunity to save a nice chunk of money became obvious. Initially I was worried that this filter wouldn't fit my pool and I would be stuck going through the drawn out process of returning the filter, after reading the description and information provided by the seller I was provided enough information to confirm this filter would work. The item arrived fast and was well packaged to ensure a safe arrival. The filter fit flawlessly and immediately had an impact on my pool. Its been around 8 months and its still functioning as well as the day it arrived to me.Pros:Almost half the price of local storesWell packaged for shippingStill working strong 8 months laterCons:Doesn't do my lawn care for me lolI plan to buy another one of these when the current filter I have gives out.
