Love these, they are super comfortable, have a nice little stretch to them, lightweight and not too short to feel like booty shorts but also not too long. Size is good, if you like your shorts to be tighter, I would go down a size. For me I enjoy my clothes to breathe so these are perfect!

I absolutely LOVE these shorts! They are very cute and comfortable, easy to dress up or dress down, they fit well without being too tight or awkwardly loose, and they're awesome quality for the price, the stitching is really solid. I live in the south and get to wear shorts around half the year, these hold up really well. My first two pairs have been in use for over a year now and the color really hasn't faded after dozens of washes (the navy pair faded a little when I accidentally washed them in hot water, but the camel pair still looks pretty new) nor have any buttons or threads come loose and I have yet to discover any pilling. I recently bought my third pair and am sorely tempted to buy a fourth, they're just so cute and versatile!My one tip is you may want to size down - initially they may feel a little too small, but I've found that these shorts do stretch out a bit over time. I normally wear size 1 or 2 but had to go down to 0 with my last pair, since my first two have stretched out enough at this point that I discovered unless I wear a belt I risk them falling off when I put my phone in my pocket.

I used to only wear jean shorts but lately I feel like they’re a little too young for me. These have been the perfect replacement shorts. Super soft and comfortable. Great length and yes, they really do stretch. I sometime roll them up 1 cuff when they stretch. I’m 5,3†so it works. And I like low rise. Very reasonably priced!

I typically wear anything from 4-7 depending on brand. I ordered these in a 5 and they were pretty big, not terrible but not flattering. I exchanged for a 3 which had a little extra room but cute and comfy. As others have said- they stretch out a lot and quickly! I only wore mine for an hour walking around and they were hanging off me. I would order again because they are nice shorts but will try a size 1, and only if they are on sale. Thick, quality, stretchy fabric. Full size pockets. Great colour. I am 5’6â€ish, 145lb very slim, athletic build with narrower hips.

Love these shorts! Length is perfect and material is good but a little thin at the picket seams. Needs to be reinforced more securely as over time the material starts to pull away. I love that they are not high waisted. I have a short waist and they fit perfect right below my belly button. They are not see through and the price is fair for the quality of the material and sewing. I bought four pair in different colors so…yes I like them alot!

Being in my late 50's, it's tough to find a decent pair of shorts that are too long, too short, too high waisted...it's always something not quite right. Heading to the West Coast to hike Death Valley and the Grand Canyon (finally!) so need some shorts that look decent, are comfortable, and made of a tough material. Definitely found it with these shorts! Perfect length, actually fits comfortably, the material is also a bit stretchy, and the material is just thick enough to be tough without being too hot.I'm 5'9" and usually wear a size 4 or 6 depending on the cut. I went with a 7 on these since we'll be hiking & climbing. Out of the 6 pairs of shorts I ordered, the two from Union Bay are the only keepers!

These shorts are so cute and comfortable but they stretch way to much. The stretch makes them comfortable but it also makes them so big you can take them off without unzipping them. At the start of the day they fit perfect . By the end of the day , you can take them off without unzipping them. UNIOUNBAY added way, way to much stretch in the material they chose for these shorts. They would be perfect if not for the stretch.

I love these shorts so much I’ve purchased 3 of them now. They fit true to size, are soft and stretchy, just the right length (I like to roll them once) and no gapping in the waist at the back which I find a lot of shorts do. The waist is a tad bit loose on me but not enough to need a belt and only helps to not get muffin top. Well made and good material. I would recommend and have done so to a friend who has just bought a pair too.

Based on measurements, I'm supposed to be a size 11, but I realized it was way too stretchy so I sized down to a 9 and it was just the right amount of stretch. You can consider sizing down one or two sizes based on how form fitting you want it to be and how loose you want it to be around your thighs as well.
