This gate solved a huge problem for me. I have to separate a cat into a large bedroom. The room always gets very hot in the summer when the door is closed. At first I was worried that it wouldn't fit my 30 inch door opening but the latches work even with the overlap. Now the air flow makes the room comfortable and the other cats get to see her and she them. Sometimes the feet move a bit and have to be pushed back into alignment but that is not too bothersome. I do agree that the directions were not clear but the assembly is easy to figure out without them. My cats do not even try to open or climb the gate so this is a perfect solution. I would not recommend this for kittens as they may get their heads stuck between the slats.

I have had this gate for over two years and have had to moved it several times because of relocation. It works wonderful, definitely would buy another if I ever needed two of them. Had to only do one thing to it and that was putting a screw in the bottom fixture so the white squares would not move, not a big deal. Great buy.

So this product would be nice if it was made better, I installed it & one door seems ok but the other door closes on its own & if you try to open it the whole leg at the bottom moves and then the whole thing comes loose and falls out of place . Unfortunately I couldnt send for a replacement because it seems this product is now unavailable. I cant return it either because I need to keep something there to keep the cats off the new couch. So I will have to go to Lowe’s & fix this gate myself. The sad thing is you spend so much money and yet you have to spend more money just to fix a product that should have been already working properly.

I've tried a few different types of pet gates in the past to prevent my cats from going into certain rooms or blocking them from direct contact when introducing them to each other. In the past, they were either able to jump over the gate or climb it if it was wire-based. Finding this extra tall pet gate was just what I was seeking. I found that it wasn't difficult to assemble, although the instructions could be a bit better as far as numbering the steps. Having the extra latches to secure the doors does help stop the pets from trying to open it and wedge them selves through it, which is very handy. My only reservation with this pet gate is that securing it in the doorway with the upper twist nobs can be a bit challenging and it has loosened itself a couple times when opening the gate. Beyond that, it's a fantastic solution from guarding off areas of the house.

I needed a gate this size, and size wise it’s just what I needed. But it’s cheaply made and I have to tighten it daily to make sure it doesn’t move. For this price point I would expect it to be more sturdy.

I was hesitant getting this product as it was bo reviews yet, but I am sooo happy I took the chance and bought it. It's exactly what I was looking for to keep my cat from running out of the front door.It locks right into place. My doorway is 36in wide and the small gap in the middle is still narrow enough that my car won't slip through. The doors easily open and shut, and can stay open if you want them to.I put it together myself in 25 minutes with the easy to follow instruction manual. Great product!

The materials are terrible. It was easy to piece together, but I suppose that's because it keeps falling apart. It slides constantly. It'll keep them out while it lasts, but I feel like I just wasted money because I'm going to have to find a better one when they break this one.I thought I was getting a deal. Save your money, and but the $400 one featured on other pet shopping apps.

Not a cheap gate but it’s tall enough to stop most pets and easily adjustable in height to fit the frame. Only down side are the snap on plastic latches which seem a bit flimsy. I suspect I’ll have to use a bike chain/padlock to reinforce the gate against dog opening.

Instructions were missing some key details, such as making sure that the top and bottom halves lock together, and the clips for the locks are incredibly difficult to get off once they're snapped on. Kind of sucks if you wanted to change their positioning after putting them on.But all in all, quite sturdy! The bars don't bend easily. My younger cat is incredibly strong, so I was nervous if it would bend if he pushes or pulls on it. It seems to be holding up pretty well so far!The trick, I learned, is to make sure that it's installed absolutely perfectly, otherwise it's not going to work the way you'll need it to. And to put one of the hooks at the very bottom so they can't push through.Hopefully this will help finally get my two kitties to get along!

Bought it for a stairs. So far so good. My stairs are 2cm too narrow but it's still sturdy, even with the overlap. It's easy to assemble. I didn't realise I had an uneven ceiling but the supports are adjustable so it fits. It's very well made, they thought of everything so it's worth the cost.

very flimsy ,my strong cats can easily dislodge it and scale the large top gap,I am returning it
