I use these for horseback riding with short boots. They look classy and not cheap. Way more comfortable than knee boots. The leather is heavy and durable. The elastic inserts (at least when new) provide a snug and comfortable fit. I followed the size and fitting guidelines. The M is a perfect fit. Note that the behind-the-knee height is real. There is enough room at the bottom that I can still wear them over a pair of riding pants with a flared pant bottom folded under. They also fit well underneath a pair of zip-bottom stable pants so I can ride in those without discomfort. Thumbs up so far.

Finally found a good quality pair of half chaps for my athletic daughter who has large muscular calves- finding boots and chaps to fit her calves is a nightmare. I had ordered and returned 6 other pairs/brands - bc none of them even came close to fitting comfortably . Not only do these fit perfectly, but they are very nice quality, with soft supple leather and sturdy stitching. These are a great price too, highly recommend for larger calves

I have a hard time finding half chaps that fit a short adult, and these are great. They are comfortable and fit over both winter and summer boots. After a year of weekly rides, the thread has worn away where my leg is in contact with the saddle or horse. Fortunately for me I have a machine that can re stitch them. Would be 5 star if they used a heavier, more abrasion resistant thread.I take the XS and wear a regular width short womens 6.5 in Ariat tall boots. Note size chart is actual chap length, not from floor.

I’ve been wearing these 2-3 times a week for 6 months for horseback riding and they have held up. Comfortable, stylish, protective and the fit is perfect. I have shorter lower legs and athletic calves and the sizing chart was very accurate. I will buy these again! The extra layer at the inner calf is excellent. Zipper is sturdy and smooth and these chaps are easy to clean. Great price! Highly recommended!

These half chaps are true to advertised sizing. It is very hard for me to find half chaps because I have very short legs. These are soft and stretchy and fit me very well. I highly recommend.

First time using half chaps as I am taking lessons on an English saddle. I’ve always ridden western. These chaps are great. They fit over my cowboy boots as I hadn’t gotten my paddock boots yet. They are very comfortable and are wearing very well. Really liking them.

Je les ai acheté pour mon armure mandalorienne. Je verrai pour la tenue dans le temps, mais je peux dire qu'ils sont beaux et qu'ils sont confortables. J'ai pris une taille en dessous de ce que le guide indiquait suite aux différents commentaires lu.
