First one arrived with a cracked funnel. I purchased through Amazon and they took care of it right away. The replacement is perfect and works very well. I use this for filtering perfumery tinctures.

The first one arrived broken. The company response was very quick, I received another one and put it to use. The major issue with this unit is the pump. It is very flimsy, and it takes a bit of a "knack" to get it to hold a vacuum when using the device. I thought the vacuum might be interchangeable for my laboratory needs, but honestly it's a bit too flimsy for heavy use. Now the glassware.... that's a different story. The flask and the funnel are built heavy, so you'll get some use out of it.

Works fine, but the filter papers included are too small to reach the edges of the filter, making it necessary to purchase separate, larger filter papers.

The quality was very poor and the construction materials used were as cheap as possible and not appropriate for a laboratory device. Device was made of ABS instead of PP which represents an absurd cost cutting measure for an item which is supposedly meant to exist in a lab environment and used for filtering solutions in a lab. ABS will be destroyed by even the slightest contact with virtually any solvent or chemical, and furthermore the plastic used was as thin as possible and super flimsy. it would NOT have been exceedingly expensive to make it robustly out of PP, and if I'm paying almost 100 bucks for this I should get a better product. All that being said the one I had even had numerous manufacturing flaws and defects, which made it even less functional than it would have been... TO be honest I have seen several items from this company and have been stunned by the total lack of quality control combined with exorbitant pricing. I returned mine, packaged it perfectly and shipped it in good time exactly as instructed and months later I have not heard whether it was accepted or not, supposedly "still waiting for me to send it"....

Arrived on time, thanks for no using Canada Post. The only issue I really have is the pump is made of cheap plastic and I thought I'd broken it when I was checking to see if it actually could pull a vacuum. Should have bought a tap aspirator, but this will be good enough for my filtrations

The pump is shoddy and did not last more than two uses. I bought this to filter the sediment out of wine, which I don't do very often. By the time I used it three times, the return period was over so now I'm stuck with it. Save your money, and buy somewhere else.

The piece of tubing that came with the kit was very short (35cm) and the inner diameter was too large to fit on the hand-pump. (To make it work I bought some inexpensive tubing at a hardware store.) Also the package was shipped from the Amazon Returns warehouse which made me wonder if the kit had been used. As other reviews stated, the hand-pump seems very flimsy so I was very careful operating it. The glaze on the ceramic funnel had some flaws/rough spots but it didn’t affect the performance. The filter flask seems fine so far. So far I have only filtered a small volume of herbal extract and it worked fine.
