I have an old Farberware electric percolator (Model# FCP512). Recently, the see through knob of the lid broke off. I tried to find a replacement knob but was unable to do so. I contacted Farberware and they did not have the replacement part. I decided to see if I could just replace the lid...Farberware did not have that either. I decided to purchase this product as the diameter was the same as the lid that came with the percolator. Once I received this Univen Percolator Lid, I put it on the coffee pot and at first the fit was just a tad small - it kept popping up. I was disappointed and thought I was going to have to purchase another percolator and was about to return it. I even compared it to the original lid and found that they were actually the same size. It was when I looked at them side by side that I noticed the prongs on the side of the lid were pulled out a little further on the original lid. I then pulled the prongs out on the replacement lid and it fit without popping up! I am so happy that I did not have to return it and purchase another percolator! I only wish that the knob was see through like the original...but I can live with it.

Disappointed with the Farberware lid. Only used about a dozen times and with difficulty removed the lid . The handle came off and was extremely difficult to remove the lid without the GLUED ON handle.The replacement is screwed on and fits much better!!

The slits in the top that hold it into pot are not close enough to the top of the lid so it doesn’t fit tight. I used a seal from a big cup to make it fiy

This perculator lid fit my 4 cup Farberware Perculator perfectly. No adjustments had to be made to the lid. I have used all sizes of Farberware perculators for 45 years and am pleased to know that there is a dealer to order parts from.

You have to really yank the cover off. I wonder how long it will last. Its really too small.
