The plugs and wires look well made. The mounting bracket is a bit on the thin side and will most likely bend easily but fantastic for the price point still.

I got this inexpensive 7 Way so that I could to a "quick and dirty" plug into my 4 way on my van to pull a trailer quickly that had a 7 way. This was easy to implement. I will make it a permenent install on my van, and it has all the necessary hardware to do that. The built quality seem to be normal with the standard access points so one can disassemble the 7 way plug complete to rewire as necessary. It's really a great buy.

I have not installed this connector yet but looks like it will do the job. The quality of the plug, wiring, etc, seems ok a long with the bracket. I will install and report back.

Added this to the truck and now have both 7 and 4 pin without having to disconnect the old adapter. Would have been nice to have self tapping screws to mount the bracket.

This is well built and all premade connections are solid. I only with the brackets were a bit different but that is a personal preference. I haven't I stalled it on the truck yet due to weather in my area but I have install numerous trailer plugs and for the price ya cant go wrong here. You will only have the 4 way lights without purchasing additional wires for the 12v +/- connections as well as a brake controller with wiring. I would recommend using 12 or 10 gauge wires for the 12v +/- wires and I usually clip the butt connectors off and use soldier and heat shrink tubing to make sure there are no failures or tripped fuses due to water intrusion. I have used the soldier and shrink style butt connectors without issues as well, I do use marine heat shrink tubing over those connectors though, just like if I would when manually soldiering them.

Very good deal. This is exactly what I needed for my old dodge ram 3500. I just cut the ends off and hard wired it in. couldn't be happier
